Obtaining a TIN number is a prerequisite for opening a bank account and accepting the rental agreement on the Taxisnet portal.
To obtain a TIN number you will need the following documents:
1)Photocopy of a valid passport or travel document (pdf)
2)The evidence proving that you reside legally in the country, which means your Visa or a valid residence permit.
3) Marriage certificate with translation, where required.
4) If you are a minor of foreign nationality, the birth certificate, which must be officially translated.
The person concerned, the legal representative, the tax representative or a third authorized person submits a request for the assignment of the VAT number and the Key Number exclusively online through the "VAT & Key Number" application of the myAADE digital portal.
To obtain your TIN number (AFM) follow the next steps::
1) Visit the digital portal of myAADE (here)
2)Check ‘’Ask for myself’’
3)Filli in your personal information
4)Fill in your passport’s information. Fill in your residence permit’s information, only if you have one.
5) Fill in your contact information and address for your country of residence at abroad.
6) Fill in some additional information.
7)At the final step(tab) please attach the required documents.
8) Choose a user name and tick the declaration of agreement
Once you have submitted the request, you must be identified by an IAPR representative, either through a video call or with your physical presence at a Tax Office.
Please follow the instructions on the screen that will appear after submission, and in any case, keep the application number.
If any of the application details changes, you can retrieve it, update its details, and resubmit it. In this case, all the relevant supporting documents must be attached again.
If for some reason you cannot schedule your identification by an IAPR employee on the next screen, you can do so at a later time, by retrieving the application for viewing and choosing from there your method of identification. In this case, the application remains exactly as it was, and you do not need to fill in/attach anything.
