Instructions for New Students
Undergraduate/postgraduate students and doctoral candidates have the right to acquire an Institutional Account after registration in their Department and registration of their data in the student record system.
Step 1
Activation of an institutional account
The first action that first-year students must take after completing their registration at the Departmental Registry is to go to https://uregister.uowm.gr to activate their institutional account.
To complete the activation process you must follow the steps below:
- Go to https://uregister.uowm.gr and click on "Activate Account Now!"
- Select "I am a student" and click on "Start Activation"
- Enter your mobile number or email address and click on "Next". Attention: you don't need to enter both details, only the mobile number or only the email is enough.
- In the next form you have to enter the PIN received by sms or email
- Finally you need to set the password of your institutional account. By setting the password, the activation of your institutional account is completed and you can use it for online services. Do not forget to write down and keep in a safe place your username and password.

With the institutional account you will have access to all electronic services such as Electronic Secretariat, e-class, email, Eudox, Academic Identity etc.).
Step 2.
AApplication for an academic identity card
Once the activation of the institutional account is completed, you can apply for an Academic ID https://academicid.minedu.gov.gr.

Step 3
Register on the eclass platform
ECLASS (https://eclass.uowm.gr): this is an asynchronous e-learning platform where it is possible to find the necessary educational material for each course, to be updated through lecturers' announcements and to submit assignments per course.
Attention: the eclass platform does not allow for the submission of semester-by-semester course registrations.
Course declarations are made in the eclass eSecretariat (see below).
Registration in eclass is done at https://eclass.uowm.gr/modules/auth/altnewuser.php?auth=7 using the same username and password with which your institutional account (Uregister) has been activated.
When registering, select the option Via Central Certification (SSO) and

Step 4
Your institutional account also corresponds to your university email address. For example, if you have username psy01234, your email address is psy01234@uowm.gr.
To create and access your online account, you will be able to approximately 1-3 hours after the end of the activation process of your institutional account (Uregister).
