The Department of Accounting and Finance participated jointly with the Master’s Degree programme “Banking-Insurance and Finance” in the Blended Intensive Programme, (BIP) – Erasmus+.
This programme involved the delivery of courses in English which were conducted online in March-April 2023 and face-to-face at Kazimierz Wielki University, Poland in May 2023.
Four universities participated in the programme as follows: Kazimierz Wielki University, Poland, as host university, the University of Western Macedonia, Greece, Vilnius University of Applied Sciences, Lithuania and the University of Alba Julia, Romania.
The theme of the BIP was: “International Banking – Limitations & Possibilities” (“International Banking – Limitations & Possibilities”).
Six students participated in the programme on behalf of the University of Western Macedonia. 5 of them were from the Accounting and Finance undergraduate programme and 1 was from the Banking-Insurance and Finance postgraduate programme.
Moreover, on behalf of the University of Western Macedonia, Professor Simeon Karafolas participated in the programme physically while Professor Haido Dritsaki participated in the programme virtually.
